Design-led acoustics from Australia to beyond
Zintra was originally launched in Australia by The Baresque Group in 2012, with the aim of combining beautiful design with industry leading acoustic solutions.
With the development of our manufacturing capabilities through Baresque Factory in Australia, we identified an opportunity to combine creativity with established fabrication skills to create innovative acoustic products.
With Baresque’s long connection to the US market and suppliers, and a close affinity with their vision for culture and design, Zintra launched into the US in 2015. This was followed by an expansion into Europe in 2019, and today we now have strong distribution networks across Canada and Asia.
Adapting to ever-evolving spaces
As the world continues to change, so do the spaces we live, work and learn in. Hybrid working, collaborative learning and evolving social dynamics have driven the need for adaptable open spaces. These spaces often come with poor acoustics which make it hard to communicate and difficult to concentrate. This is why Zintra was created.
At Zintra we pride ourselves with producing quality and design-led acoustics that don’t cost the earth. Our hope is that it helps designers and architects create unique indoor spaces that meet their client's needs whilst providing comfort in any commercial space with excellent design impact and acoustic benefits.

Localized operations in Australia, USA and Belgium means we're ensuring that we minimize energy consumption and the need for carbon-intensive transportation.
Over the years, the Zintra team have worked hard to minimize our environmental impact on the world. We're proud of our numerous eco certifications that help us contribute to healthy and sustainable interiors – HPD, Red List Free, Declare, and Greenguard Gold.
We are class leading in our recycled content, with our PET being made of 100% recyclable content. That's 60% post-consumer recycled fibre, 35% pre-consumer fibre, and 5% bio-based fibre, ensuring that we meet the Global Recycled Standard.

Zintra Acoustic is dedicated to creating design-led superior acoustic solutions. We are driven to apply acoustical science to product development; to transform spaces beyond just the aesthetically pleasing to achieving superior acoustic performance by improving sound quality, reducing echoes, and minimizing background noise.
The ability of our PET material to absorb sound is critical to good acoustics. Zintra products have been tested and received alpha-w ratings ranging from 0.3 - 1, depending on its depth, shape and the distance it is installed from a surface.
Manufacturing and innovation
At its inception, the Zintra product line included simple panels and systems for walls and ceilings. Our portfolio of products has since expanded to now include Baffles, Clouds, Tiles and Acoustic Sticks systems, while our digital print and colour options have also increased to:
